While learning how to ride is an enjoyable and fun experience, it has the potential to be very dangerous. For this reason, it’s important that you find the best riding school you can. Nervous riders will soon learn to overcome their nerves, and as Heather says "problem horses are no problem!"

    Entwood are SANEF qualified instructors. Dave and Heather have over 50 years experience in riding and teaching.

    The condition of our horses speak for themselves. Their coats are glossy and they are happy in their spacious paddocks.

  • CLEAN STABLES

    Our stables are mucked out daily to ensure the health and happiness of our horses. They enjoy top quality feed suited to each horses' requirements.

  • VARIED TEACHING

    Heather and Dave alternate teaching each group. They have very different focus areas which helps you learn so much more.

  • COMPLETE LEARNING

    At Entwood you don't just arrive and climb on a horse. You are taught how to groom and tack your own horse.

  • SMALL CLASSES

    Our lesson groups are small with a maximum of 6 riders. For safety reasons, beginner groups have fewer pupils.
